I ordered a cab from Uber and within 30 seconds was sent a message to say I would be charged for driver's wasted time and trip. I was standing a tht epck up point whilst ordering. Not an honest company.

This happened once before and I thought it had been a mistake, so was stupid enough to try again, to my cost.
