They have screwed me out of my money 4 separate times now and when I called in I got 2 very rude foreign people that told me that they didn't have to disclose who was in charge of them when they refused to fix a major problem that is still not resolved or even addressed in weeks now

Taxi prices in Baltimore are slightly higher than average. The average taxi ride in Baltimore costs $21.90. The average rate for a ride in Baltimore is 12 percent more than the national average. Taxi prices in Baltimore are pricey because the local taxi fleet is the second smallest in the nation, according to the Taxicab, Limousine & Paratransit Association. The rule of thumb is that one cab ride will cost about the same as a mile in a vehicle with three seats. Uber and Lyft, meanwhile, still offer similar fares even though their costs are falling due to advances in GPS technology and computer software.

Uber rates in Baltimore are 2X their cost. Uber also has a service called "Intersection Watch," which allows people who live near one of these locations to be notified if someone is illegally behind the wheel of a vehicle. If they see a vehicle moving recklessly, they can call 911 and alert the officer. This makes Baltimore more efficient and safer.

Taxi prices in Baltimore City are dropping faster than prices on Uber, according to a report from the Transponder Capital Group, a company that analyzes the number of rides taken per square mile across the country. Price changes for the two apps are not the same, but both are close to their respective low-end averages, the report shows. The Transponder Capital group pulled data from taxis.com, travelmemories.com and Uber's main app, which means the service in Baltimore is closer to Uber than other major cities. Drivers are seeking a more affordable way to pay for the car they need to work the 15 to 20 hours per day they do, rather than having to fork over the entire fare for each trip.

Uber rates in Baltimore tend to be slightly higher than the national average. Suburban parking garages have reasonable prices as well. The rates are competitive with much of the rest of the country. But for that higher price, cab drivers will probably make more money. Taxi drivers now make significantly more money per hour than taxi owners on average — both are doing well above city minimum wage. The study found that Baltimore taxi rates have jumped from $30 to $89 in the last year alone. The study was funded by the Taxicab Board of New York City. Uber rates in Baltimore are also about one-third higher than in Austin, while in Miami, the average city is 73 percent more expensive.
