Hi, We'll be staying at Capernwray Hall near Carnforth April 10th-14th. We wondered if there is an Uber or Lyft service that we can call on while we are there. It is the Easter Weekend and so a lift on Easter may not be someone's cup of tea, just let us know. Would you advise us to rent our own vehicle from Lancaster if we are wishing to travel up to the Lake District on Monday? Otherwise would it work to have a lift there and catch a lift back. We are wondering which would be most advisable, as far as cost and ease? Also there is the train that likely goes up there too. We for sure wanted to see Kirkby Lonsdale as suggested from a friend. Any information you could lend us would be so appreciated. We are leaving early the 14th and I need to purchase train tickets to go as far as Oxford for a few hours and then on to London.
Since I am new at this, do we reserve times with an Uber and line things up beforehand? I love this idea as it will make it easier while we are there. Thanks and God bless, Marae
