While I was on the station I got a ride from a friendly taxi driver to the station in Derby (about a 20 minute trip) just in time to see Wilcox take the lead. By the time I arrived at the station I had received a call from him and we had the same taxi. The call came in the middle of a route which was rather dull as we crossed close to the centre of the town and did not travel any further than the north west corner of the town.
