Uber rates in Dulles are now very competitive, and it's well worth the trip. Uber rates in Dulles are easy to get, though. The area has a number of shuttle buses that can take you to the airport, with current prices coming in at just $0.69, or 70 cents. From what I can tell, their long term plan is to increase parking via shared-electricity charging stations. This would give them the benefit of electric vehicles but their customer base is mostly EV owners. You can use your iPhone or Android smartphone to bookmark this location and take a trip here with a friend. If you take a monthly visit, you can update your coordinates to make it easier to find the future destinations on the map.

Taxi prices in Dulles have grown by a quarter in the past few years, while fares in D.C. have soared by more than 50 percent, according to a recent E-rate report. There are the small local cab companies who work out of garages or garages with 2 or 3 cars, and insist on referring you to their mobile phone app. And then there are big-game hunting cab companies, who can pack seven or more taxicabs into one vehicle, and charge the same price for multiple customers. Taxi prices in Dulles are about $20 per hour. Instead of fares of $35-$40, fares in D.C. for a Metro bus might cost about $30 per day. Plus, buses in Dulles are half as long.
