Taxi prices in Eindhoven might rise or fall and services may run slower because of the unrest. Dutch transport and security company Go-Ahead Capital forecasts a drop in taxi fares in the capital of Eindhoven of between 1.5 and 2 percent on Monday. Dutch taxi companies said they have been alerted to heavy crowds during the strike action. If there are no changes, an average trip will cost €3.70. A taxi fare for a 1,000-km (620-mile) journey in the Netherlands would cost €21.60.
