I would recommend going out of Farmington with Uber or Lyft. When I went with a six passenger sedan it was very roomy and the private vehicle type. The interior was clean and comfortable. The driver was friendly and very polite. We had a nice back and forth discussion about the weather in Colorado, sports, news, music and other topics. He got me exactly where I asked and he cared if we felt good. Other passengers were also friendly. Now I know where to call when I am going to go out of the town.
