Taxi prices in Glasgow have gone up and that means that taxi drivers can be earning between £2,000 and £4,000, according to new figures released by the Scottish government. While there are improvements to the terms and conditions of taxi drivers in Scotland, the ONS's figures show that while the average wage in Scotland rose in real terms last year, the average rate of inflation for all worker salaries and costs in the public sector rose by 4.9%.
