I live in Kimberling City, Mo and tried for 2 days now to get ride without any luck, Keeps telling me to check back Later, whats going on?

No one at Uber ever responded to my query about my getting free transportation (compassionate rides) from Kimberling City, Missouri, to Springfield, Missouri, this Tuesday, January 7th.

I live off of disability & thus far can't get food stamps since I just moved here; I'm disabled and cannot drive, nor can my roommate, and I have no access to nor do I know anyone willing to drive me an hour away to my appointment & give me a ride home a couple of hours later. My extremely limited income will not allow for me to spend money on an Uber or Lyft at their prices (upwards of $100 one way!!!) It seems that neither offers compassionate riders for cancer patients anymore. I've already rescheduled this appointment once because no one would take me all the way to Columbia, MO per my former doc's instructions because it's much farther away, and it's EXTREMELY difficult to find any sort of transportation here except in the summer. I live on Table Rock Lake and the summer trade is the only time drivers frequent this area. Someone here in KimCity might take me, but no one wants to sit around until my appointment is over  - maybe an hour or so. 

The public transportation I have scheduled for Tuesday is a problem for me. 1) I will have to be picked up at 7 am and arrive several hours before my appointment and find some way to kill a lot of time. 2) I am agoraphobic - TERRIFIED of strangers (worse since my husband left me!) unless accompanied by my therapy dog or someone I know well, but I haven't cleared my dog with anyone here in Missouri yet, and thus didn't want to bring her (I do have letters from both my former doctor & my vet). My roommate has a condition that makes her unable to travel far from home or leave for more than an hour or two. 3) I have multiple health conditions that exhaust me & require me to take a nap in the afternoon for at least a few hours. That won't be possible until after I reach home - much too late. I'm really worried that I might lose it on Tuesday. I'll probably have more appointments and at least one operation, possibly chemotherapy - and I have no idea how I will overcome any of this. But Tuesday is my immediate concern.

I'd REALLY appreciate some compassion and assistance!
