Taxi prices in Manchester have fallen by nearly half, and now lie below London in the average price-per-trip of their rivals. And while London's tipper remains the third most expensive in the country, high-end city taxis have begun offering rewards schemes to attract all-day prices. Taxi prices in Manchester should be similar to their equivalents in London's cab market. The fare for an UberX is 25p. We are paying a large amount of money to turn London into a taxi mecca, and the economic downturn may force us to continue to invest in capital with the understanding that it will create long-term economic benefits in a city we've come to love. And if it doesn't, at least we'll know it hasn't ruined Manchester.

Hi my daughter Sian Evans booked an Uber taxi
Through her app on Wednesday 15/06/2022 it arrived at 23:00 and got her home to 19 Royalthorn Road M22 8AJ safely but the next day she was Charged £74.00 for a 7 mile journey which is extortionate in the extreme I have contacted Manchester City council licensing department who have told me to contact you directly and they plan to do the same because they have a strict protocol when it comes to over charging
