I have never used an uber before. I need to go from Naples, Florida 34116 to Fort Meyers Airport (American Airlines). My flight leaves at 7:20am, so I need to be there at 6:00am. I am afraid the uber driver will not be reliable and be at my house on time? I would have to leave my house by 5:15am. How can I be assured that someone is going to show up at 5:15am? Do I know who my uber driver is in advance? Do I get to talk to the person before hand? What if they are late?

Maybe I should drive myself and pay for long term parking? I'm not sure how reliable it is?

According to Uber, it is working on a "non-refundable deposit" that drivers can use to cover losses on their accounts. It says there are no changes to rates for now and if drivers want to go back to the old rates that may be available in coming weeks. According to Uber, a trip between Naples and New York can cost less than $25 if the trip is within UberX. When the fare is higher, those the trips do happen from 25K miles (or less) away, the cost increases to 45K miles (plus 10K miles), and up to 120K miles (plus 40K miles) with uberX.
