Taxi prices in Oshawa have gone up significantly over the last year. Similar to Toronto, Ottawa's taxi prices have gone up around two per cent a year for the last few years, but prices in Oshawa are up over 40 per cent. ber's UberX service launched in Oshawa in October 2016. Oshawa cab drivers have complained that UberX is a threat to their industry, which relies heavily on those unlicensed cabs.
