Speed Club members can make $25 in free rides a month with a Gold membership, which is provided free of charge by ticket sales or a "special deal." Once you purchase Gold or Platinum (or whatever members have so far) you can then get an extra $10 when you buy a ticket for the local shuttle. State law requires that Uber charges a premium over the general average trip fare on public transportation. That suggests the total discount being offered is around 50 percent.
