What about Uber rates in Sacramento? According to Payless, 790,000 to 900,000 people signed up for a ride this month. Drivers, though, claimed their pay was near the base. This is partly because the company set prices at whatever it cost drivers to buy insurance, but also because ridesharing companies have been cutbacks in other ways. Last year, Lyft ended its discounted business plan for long-distance drivers, effectively eliminating the chance of a discounted rate. Uber rates in Sacramento are still on the high side, but you can get to a cheaper spot in the town.
