That's down from the 42 cents in Minnesota's largest city, St. Paul. St. Paul's taxi drivers, though, earn $1.18 per mile, more than five times Minneapolis's figure. Though I hear the same thing over and over again as I talk with people on the street in our neighborhood: St Paul has skyrocketing fares, most of them from high-cost cities.
