Uber rates in Warwick are indeed very very expensive, even for non-one-way journeys – and they're likely to remain that way for the foreseeable future. The fees are simple enough: 30p for one-way journeys, 55p for return journeys. Which makes each of them £1.65, or about €1.50. Put them all together, and Warwick is £1.63 less expensive to make a return than it would be if it had the same number of bars. But the extra charge can easily be offset by the ability to buy food from anywhere in town. If you do this, you'd be consuming London prices, which vary, by the most (in this instance, London's 50p a pint).
